英語寫作中的成對詞

　　成對詞即把兩個相關的詞或同一個詞用and或or連接起來的詞組。它們常出現(xiàn)在口語或非正式書面語中，是人們在長期的語言交際中約定俗成的。看下面的實例：

　　1. We should serve the people heart and soul. 　　我們應該全心全意地為人民服務?！　?br>
　　2. The missing child came back safe and sound. 　　那個失蹤地孩子安然無恙地回來了?！　?br>
　　3. They quarreled last night and this morning she left, bag and baggage. 　　昨夜他們吵架了，今天早晨她收拾起自己的東西就走了?！　?br>
　　4. After the fight, he was black and blue all over. 　　搏斗結(jié)束后，他遍體鱗傷?！　?br>
